MUSIC MINISTRY
Welcome to the Bixby Knolls Christian Church Music Department! The Music Ministry at Bixby Knolls is a vital part of the life of the church.
In addition to the choirs at BKCC, the Music Ministry is blessed by the talents of many soloists and instrumentalists. Each Sunday's Offertory Music is provided by a soloist or small group - all volunteers, but always enjoyable.
From time to time, a brass ensemble, or a flute or saxophone will add a splash of color to a worship service.
It is no wonder that with all the talent and dedication within the members of Bixby Knolls, the music ministry is deeply appreciated by the congregation. You are encouraged to join us when you are in the area!
CHOIRS: The Chancel choir enhances the traditional worship service each Sunday from September to July. Musical selections vary from Classical to Contemporary. Rehearsals are in the sanctuary each Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
HAND BELLS: The handbell choir adds another dimension of praise to worship. This intergenerational group has also performed for other organizations in the Long Beach Community. Rehearsals are Monday Nights from 7:00 to 8:30.
